Thanks everypony for your comments and totally justifying the time and effort I put into this. I haven't carved a pumpkin in over a decade (not since elementary school, I think).

Darn those ponies, they drive me to pumpkin!

This idea wasn't my first; I wanted to do a Pipsqueak the Pirate or a Spike carving, which I was surprised to see none of in the pumpkin event (I should have carved more pumpkins). I decided to do creepy over cute and Hugh Jelly is pretty much as creepy as creepy can get. Double pumpkin idea came naturally when I was trying to think of ways to make it creepier...
